OK so here's my problem my car has a crappy little radio so I would like to custom Fit a PS3 into my head unit and I was wondering what would be the best option my idea was that I would buy a 7 inch lcd monitor and place that in front of a cheap aux enabled CA player. Connect the ps3 to the monitor and I was wondering if this would work and also how I could connect the aux up so the ps3 would play onto the sound system
Cars don't normally have a lot of room behind the dash you'll need to check space first.Next thing will be how your going to power it ; you'll need a power inverter most probably ,assuming it can supply enough juice. other storage locations: glove compartment Under a seat, fit ps3 preferably raised so there's an air gap underneath & make sure exhaust doesn't run directly under the floor where you place the ps3 Portable mode.have it anywhere as it's not bolted down the rest you can web search for
My main concern is wether or not the reversing camera screen will register as a compatible monitor for the ps3
