So I was playing Call of Duty 4.. My controller is working just fine. I check my battery level and I have a full battery so I decide not to plug it up.. I turned off my PS3 and went downstairs to grab a bite to eat. I come back upstairs and hit the PS button and my PS3 turns on.. Thing is, the controller blinks the four little lights and then turns back off! I pushed it again thinking maybe it didn't connect or something.. Same thing, blinks four lights and then cuts off..

So I grab my trusty USB cord and hook up my controller and it blinks the four little lights and then connects. So I unplug the controller and it simply cuts off again.

By this time I'm thinking, maybe it went dead? So I plug it up and leave it for about 45 min.- 1 hour. I come back and unplug it.. The stupid thing disconnects again!

I wouldn't think it would be the controller because I've only had this controller for about a month and I've never had any trouble whatsoever with it before.. Any ideas on what's going on?

*Edit- Nevermind, after turning my PS3 on and off about 10 times, my controller finally connected.. Weird, not sure what was going on there..

Hope your ps3 breaks and claim warranty for a new one perhaps? (i would totally want that before my warranty expired)

Lol. Well it works fine now.. My controller connects without a problem. I can't figure out what would have made it do that just that one time..

See that's what I did. I connected it while the lights were flashing and it was trying to connect. And when I did that it connected and let me use it like usual. But whenever I disconnected it from the cable, it just cut off..

Controllers can be weird. Once I spilled tea into my ps3 controller (there was a small hole in it from me slamming it on the ground in frustration at certain games) and it wouldn't work properly for about an hour and then worked fine after that so shit happens.

It's happened to me a few times as well, drives me batshit insane trying to figure out how to get it to connect.

Lol. Well it did it again but this time I hit the tiny little reset button on the back of the controller and it connected just like that..
