OK well its the opinion of 99% of the gaming community.ign,g4 and groups such as that who evaluate games for a living but hey who are they ya know?

Oh i think Sony showed them what they had but you cant show everything because they is in a Biz to make money like everyone else.

 

jeez, it seems a lot have jumped on the anti-sony bandwagon. has it ever occured to people that m$ at last year e3 put forth a shameful effort? when your already on rock bottem the only way to go is up, especially when its a company like that, they were not about to have a repeat performance. actually they could not AFFORD a repeat performance.

now take a look at sony. they had the better show last year and most of the buzz. so this year comes along, and anyone will tell you....when you are number1, you actually have to work twice as hard to get the same kind of recognition, and also you are under more scrutiny in the public eye.

this year's e3 IMO was nothing to be upset or disappointed about for sony. they revealed the price, LOWER than the so called analyst predicted, had a VARIETY of different games, BUT i think the problems lies, when most people seemed to already write sony off when they heard about the initial prices. i can't see sony coming up or doing anything more than what they have done that would have changed people's perspectives at e3.

 

Either way its better to be going up not down.its no excuse to say because they/sony had a great showing last year that they can blow monkey balls this year.Notice they had a great last year cause they lied cough, cough hyped their system which we find out is not what it was portrayed as this last year.And yeh a lot of people ahve jumped the anti-sony bandwagon which isnt good fo rsony and u have noticed and there obviously is a reason for it.People are tired of sony overhyping their console and saying crap like ps3 will make the PC obselete and stuff like that.Peopl are tired as ive told otehrs of poor customer service.Peopl are getting fed wup with SOny's arrogance and lies.Now MS may have sucked last year at e3 but they did amazing this year and thats not in comparison to this year.People are concerned with what have you done for me lately and in this case MS and Nintendo have delivered leaving sony out in the cold.Need not to worry Sony will win this war,fans are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too loyal.

 

Hade dont worry about them its only a few compare to the 100 million consoles they sold when your on top everyone is gunning for ya !

 

dngl could u name a system sony has failed us with please name 1? could u name 1 way they didn't do good at e3. and they didn't say they would make computers obsolete they said it would act as a computer. ms service SUCKS ms rushed their system put (alot not all) of bad games I.E. gun and put out a bunch of broken systems that is not good service too me i sent in my x360 and the thing burned through 3 of my games and the gave me pdz wtf? why r sony fans mad when sony has shown all the games loyal fans know and love, why r the japanese dissapointed with ps3 when the best selling game in japan is rige racer 6? i don't get your theries they're not that good you're just oppinionated and should post in the x360 forums cause dngl u just start flame wars.

face it, ps3 will be a hit. over 100,000,000 people own a ps2, so what makes u think their loyal fanbase is going to drop them like their 'not'.

i never said or implied that. the new york yankees are the most successful team in MLB, so the public expects them to always make the playoffs. every season they do not win the world series it is dissappointing. sooo the EXPECTATION is raised and when/or/if that is not met there is a subsequent letdown, even though other companies or teams would be happy with that kind of showing or performance.

Ps3 didnt do good at e3 so theres your one console.Im not saying the ps3 wont be great but they have you guys out here doing there dirty work and its oh so sad.Anytime anyone says anything that could put sony in a bad light you guys fill up the room with your little defense tactics its pathetic.im clumping all of you together so answers to each of your questions are mixed throughout because to me your all just one big sony fan.If you havent notcied there are more people jumping off the sony bandwagon than ever,there are also more complaints about sonys customer care than MS's and with that said that sucks to be you dr.cool and i too would be pissed at MS if i were you.Hade as for my sentence structure im not too worried most seem to grasp what im saying so pipe down.MS did have a suspect launch,they did have overheating issues and the list goes on the difference between me and you fellas is that im MAN enough to admit that.I dont act like a public relations guy for MS as you guys do for Sony.

the ps3 at e3 was there to have something there. they had working consoles and games as well as some demos, and it was put together relatively fast. i believe thats why sony had a kinda rough e3. they didnt have the ps3 prototypes till a little bit before e3 (maybe a couple weeks or a month) so they had to rush in what they could to pull of the best should that time allowed. they released info and showed great footage and wonderful looking games, and that was their goal. i believe the tokyo game show will be the place to truly see the 'mythical' ps3

 

really the ps3 had a good showing hey just had to many slide shows, but really the only thing ms did good was not have that fool jay allard go out lay on the ground and talk about xbl.

then explain to me wtf question you are asking there. yes your last post made sense, but by explaining myself in detail, which is typically how i post, it doesnt mean i am taking a stance as a PR person for sony(hell i dont even own stock in them!). i try to get people to understand where i am coming from, and it allows for greater discussion when you are able to see both sides.

the majority of posts by you seem to be pessimistic in nature. so i'll ask again, if you have such strong feelings about sony then why do you find yourself ending up in the ps3 forums all the time? there is for every action a reaction, and when you make as many attempts to denounce the ps3(in a ps3 forum), then yes you are bound to find people who are going to think differently from you. E3 had almost everything i wanted to know about the ps3, the footage was great, and had playable demos on the floor.

so, if you personally think e3 sucked for sony, then why don't you post why you say that? its not sufficient to sit here and say "all the critics say they got their ass kicked.." explain in your own words what was soo disppointing for you. where DID they go wrong?? then maybe we would be able to understand where you are coming from
