Wtf? I haven't logged onto PSN for 2 days because I've been sick. I turn on my PS3 and it doesn't sign in. I click on sign in and it says "You cannot use PlayStation Network with this account (8002A231) What the hell is up with that?
God hates you. ...no, actually, that does sound strange. Google's told me that anything from resetting your modem/router to calling Sony will help your cause, though you're not guaranteed the result you're looking for. As for the error, it seems you've been suspended due to lack of activity... or something like that. I guess taking breaks from gaming is a big no-no to Sony. But yeah, have you tried resetting your modem/router? You could also try contacting your ISP. They MIGHT know what's going on.
Haven't tried that.. I'll reset my modem and router real quick and if that doesn't work then I guess I'll have to ring up Sony in the morning. Not sure why they would suspend me for lack of activity though.. My buddy wasn't signed on for a month and he signed on perfectly the other day. Strange, but thanks for info. I'll let you know how it goes. EDIT: Reset my modem and router three times. I even made a new connection on my PS3 and connected it, tried to sign on and still no luck.. $ony's starting to piss me off a bit. I'll give them a ring in the morning. Thanks for you help though
