I bought a PS3, installed a 250 GB hard drive, and am in the process of transferring many of my DVDs to a PS3-readable MP4 format.

I am using DVDFab Decypter Platinum on the DVD->PS3 setting.

I have ripped/encoded six movies so far. My question is: How do I get them from my PC to my PS3?

I know that I can use a FAT-32 Formatted USB thumb drive to move the files, but I also know that there must be a specific set of folders that the movies should be put into. I have no idea what folders to create.

    Can someone help me?

create a folder named PS3 in the root of the external hdd. In the PS3 folder make folders called VIDEO, PHOTO, and MUSIC. And put what you want to transfer to the ps3 into their respected folders. Yes the folders have to be in all caps.

or just chuck them all on, hit triangle on the USB icon and select "Display All".
