Ps3 Games . . .

What games would people here like to see come from Ps3? Cause game makers could really blow ps3 out of the water if they make SHITY games, cause let me tell you i have seen some shity games come out of ps2. Games that are a comeplete failure aare the ones that gone in stores and starting price is 29.99$ or anything less. But once and a while you might have a cheap game come out that might be really good.

 

i'd like to see some more Resident Evil games, maybe a sequal to Manhunt, a new, even bigger (blue ray, anyone?)GTA game, maybe a very late sequal to Thrasher : Skate and Destroy, a properly developped Socom 3 or 4, etc. etc.

 

What about a Tony Hawk game using the blu-ray THAT WOULD BE SICK...and I heard about an all dragons game on IGN.com its graphics were awsome.....Hey If any finds out anything e-mail me at joebuckley2@hotmail.com. Any info that can be provided would be great...

The xbox 360 will have much better games than the PS3. They have signed much better games to the xbox 360. Dont believe me? Then here is some proof:

Also if you think that the ps3 games will larger because of the blu ray disks they you must not have heard of the HD DVD disks which plan to be used for the 360. Tri layered HD DVD disks can hold up to 45GB

 

The x360 will not have HD DVD for games. They might incorporate a HD DVD player into it later on but it will only be for playing HD DVD movies.

 

You can not deny that the 360 will have much better games. The ps3 has no good named games which are not coming out on the 360. Even if they do not use bluray disks much better games are lined up for the 360:

Perfect Dark: Zero
Gears of War
Quake 4
Call of Duty 2
Resident Evil 5
Tony Hawks: American Wasteland

Ps3 games will cost a lot more to buy because blu ray disks are more expensive to produce, so like everything else sony makes it will cost a lot.
Name a few good ps3 games! If anyone mentions killzone i will kill them because i played no 1 and it was shit. Their answer for halo has sadly lacking and extremely restrictive with lack of a jump button. In that game getting stopped by a blocade 10cm tall was very infuriating!

 

Socom 3 will come out for ps2 so im sure there will be a socom 4 on the ps3. Also looking forward to Unreal 3 or Unreal championship 3 on the 360. Microsoft has a very good lineup planned but just because sony hasnt annoucned very many good games yet doesnt mean the ps3 will suck at all. I just hope microsoft doesn't make the mistake of rushing to get halo 3 out in time for the ps3 launch. If they rush halo 3 they are making a very bad move. The have the power to dominate with a single game i hope they dont waste the opportunity to outsell sony by not giving 110% into halo 3.

yea, Ps3 dominates in rpgs. Game developers have more time on the ps3 to make games because it hasnt been realeased, and its specs have.

One thing, you have to realiaze that most of these games will be for ps3 aswell. They already have 160 games for ps3 developing..

Ps3 will also have devil may cry 4 , final fanasy(note that onloy ff11 will be on 360 whihc u have to pay for online)Discussion if xbox will have ff will be may 2006.

The only reason i won't buy an xbox 360 is that xbox live will still cost you extra, whereas sony will keep most of it's online games free of charge. Besides, most of the games anounced for the 360 are sports and racing games, and that's one thing i could live without (except for the Tony Hawk series, that is )

 

I don't think just because the XBox 360 has Call of Duty 2, NFS: Most Wanted, a bunch of sports games that are always multiplatform, Quake 4, Half Life 2, etc it has better games. They're either PC ports and what do you have to celebrate about. PC gamers will just laugh up their sleeves and say "Oh wow!!! You can play Quake 4 and Half Life 2 on your XBox 360!! That's so cool!!!" in a sarcastic voice and say they could play those games long ago so why don't you just get a kickass PC to play those games if you wanted the XBox 360 just for those games. Plus how many of the games you've listed is XBox 360 exclusive???? And why is there no mention of Halo 3. And there are not many original games which try something completely new on the XBox 360 yet. Everything is pretty much the same except it looks better.

 

Because to play games like Half-Life 2, Doom 3, etc at highest resolution, which they will be at on the 360, would require an expensive kick-ass computer. Why not just buy the more powerful 360 for $300?

Resolution means if its 1080i or 1080p...and Xbox 360 is weaker there. But I doubt you'll see many 1080anything games, and even if you do, the 360 has the power to run it, they just chose not to incorporate it.
EDIT: Ohh I see you were commenting on my other post. I was just saying, tha if you have a $1000 PC you wont be able to run games like Doom 3 at the highest resolution, but the 360 is easily capable of that.

 

Does anyone know if Final Fantasy 12 is goign to be for ps2 and ps3? Are they making it for both systems?
I dont think i mentioned this on this forum but, ps3 currently has 170 games developing, that almost half that ps2 already has in total.
