Actually a top of the line PC could beat both the PS3 and XBox 360 for like a few months now. Either get the 512MB X1800GT, 256MB 7800GTX or 512MB 7800GTX and you beat their GPUs. The processors are kind of hard and there's no way to beat them but that doesn't matter much if you're playing PC games like Half Life 2 and Quake 4. Memory is easy enough. Output to HDTV is hard though. No HD LCDs available for PCs. Might be able to output to HDTV but takes a lot of money. So in the end XBox 360 is cheaper but PC can be more powerful with constant upgrades.

 

Im actually looking foward to seeing sequels for dynasty warriors, from what i hear it will be for the ps3 but then again koei has been known to release the dynasty warriors series on both xbox and playstation.

 

I just hope there gonna cosentrate more to :-action

-Adventure
A shoot em up would be out of the question, this type a game you play on a pc. But we'll see what the future brings

have you guys seen the preview for that motorcross dune buggy racing games the craphics are so awsome when the car is about to slam on the guy picking up his bike. if the ps3 pums out those graphics i will seriously gain at least 60lb of fat from playing it daily. in fact i will probably skip a week of school to play it from morning till night when i finally get it.

I'm looking forward to MGS4, Resident Evil 5 and Killzone 2. I'm among the not so many who enjoyed Killzone in the PS2. I still play it online and can't get enough of it. But I do hope they correct some of the flaws of the old game, like more control customization, and more characters to select in the multiplayer modes.

 

Has anyone seen the scarface game for the new playstation 3, sounds pretty impressive!

 

I don't know about that. I'm not expecting much. They're basically copying GTA which is fine since the developers took a lot of inspiration from Scarface for GTA: Vice City. It's been delayed a few times already though. Don't hope for much. Just GTA that looks better.

 

GTA games are pretty good though, i personally liked the san andreas game on the PS2 because of it's wide varity of gameplay and locations.

But I've gotta say the fighting games that are going to be released on the PS3 are gonna change the gaming industry completly.

I also heard that the PS3 will come with a built-in hard drive so you can store your music mp3s, movies or games etc (depends on the size of the hard drive)

So because of all the features of the PS3, it will most likely sell around $300-$400 and about $60-$80 for a HD/Bluray PS3 game, hopefully will reduce in price after a couple of months.

 

Well its already been stated that PS3 will be at least $400 because of all its features. Not sure about they Blu-ray games, which they will probably come out with as game sizes increase.

 

Actually Sony has confirmed that the PS3 won't be including a hardrive, though they are still debating if they should either offer an optional unit or allowing us to ad our own drive later. As for Bluray, I heard that the first games are going to be in DVD and that Bluray games will begin to apear gradually.

 

Lol, you meen wont be incluiding a hardrive when buying the concol,or do you mean that they will be selling it seperetly? I know sony has announced that the ps3 has a 2.5in Removable Hard Drive.

I have nothing dgends the ps3..but i chose the 360 for a simple reason

There r really good ps3 game titles out there..but the extremly good ones are kept in japan..and if u wanna buy em from the us it's very expensive. I mean have u ever seen one of the jappenese only title..they

Actually I disagree with that. For one good reason. Not everyone knows Japanese. It's not among the top 5 major languages. Plus Japanese people are learning Mandarin because they have better chance of finding jobs in China. I don't inted to learn a whole new language just to play a few games. That's going a little too overboard. And the fighting games will be nothing new. Just the same old stuff except it looks better. There are fewer and fewer original games. Plus the $300-$400 price is too off. Look at the How much PS3 will cost. Realistically the cheapest most people agree is slightly above $400-$500. I think it will be above $500. But that's another topic.

 

for playstation rpg games, i just want the character to hit a huge damage over 9999.
