ps3 home open beta ?

when does this start and how can we join?

its an open beta allowing 50 000 people to join

 

no word yet but isnt the official release in september? I may be mistaken but I think I can wait a month

 

Well I know that the official release date for home is somewhere in fall 07 so I think the open beta will be out a couple months before fall. So it will give them some months before its out to look and the open beta results and make some touch ups if needed.

 

Guys what is home beta?

Beta is when a limited number of people can try the program to see whether it has any bugs in it.

I heard the finalized Home will be released at the end of this month. Pretty sure I heard that on E3.

 

Really? Haven't heard that. Then there won't be enough time for the open beta.

 

Who said they have to have an open beta? They already had a closed beta.

 

Home will be available for download on October 4th. dunno about the beta
