ps3 laser change, now blue light stay on

    I have changed the laser on my ps3 as it was not reading game correctly anymore. Now when I power on the ps3 the blue light stay on, as if it have a disk in but it havent. I have veryfied and the inside mechanism is if off/eject position.

    I have opened the ps3 and made a little video to show what it does when I power it on :

    (in the video I start the ps3, system power on, drive show blue light. I then press eject button and eject cycle begin loop)

    The problem was the ribbon cable connector on the blu ray drive was damaged. I was only using tape to fix it and it wasn't making enough pressure on the cable. I used two paper clip (one on each side) to make better pressure on the connector and the PS3 is working fine since then.
