PS3 network connection

    Just got a new cable modem off of amazon now I have 2 in the house(not sure if this allowed) and tried the new one with the ps3 and will not connect to any thing so I hooked the new one to my computer and every site I went 2 it took me` back it my internet providers web site and it acted like i was a new costumer and said the mac # was unknown is there any why 2 change this??

    You only need one cable modem for your internet connection, get a router if you want to share internet connections in the house.
