    Hi all,

I'm trying to get my PS3 controller to work with my PC, I really want to play Resident Evil 4 before I buy the 5th one.

I'm using the this guide, i've followed it word for word but i'm still having no luck in making it work.

I think it might be because i'm running Windows XP x64 bit?

I've just tried it after coming back form work and the damn thing still won't work for some reason. I plugged my PS3 controller into the PC and it recognized it and a 'USB Human Interface' something or other, then I went into setting -> game controllers and it's there as a PLAYSTATION 3 Controller so my PC knows it's plugged in but when I run the installer you gave me a link to it still doesn't work.

Getting the ps3 controller to work on 64bit system is a pain.

The problem is most likely the driver your installing is not digitally signed, and hence will not work. To fix this, you must force it to be digitally signed or to bypass the entire security feature by pressing F8 on startup and then selecting something along the lines of "disable driver signatures"... it worked for me after that but you got to do it everytime you want to use the controller
