PS3 streaming video mp3s - settings

    I have recently set up my ps3 to try to stream music and videos directly to my ps3. The ps3 has found the complete list of mp3's and videos on my pc but when i click on the file, it just will not play!!!

    I have the latest firmware installed.

    Any ideas?

    What are you using to stream - try TVersity if its not that. Ive had problems with all streaming devices but the least with TVersity.

    Also have you opened the necessary ports in your router if you are using one (which I assume you are).

    Other than that I would say try rebooting everything lol.

    I use Windows Media Player 11 and i have no problems at all,have you tried copying them to the PS3s harddrive and playing that way.
