PS3 Swap Switch Tutorial

I think what he is implying is to use swap magic so that the disk
will stop spinning and make it safe to do the eject/switch method.

I would like to know too, it maybe worth it to buy swapmagic if
the dvd drive stops spinning right away. Anyone know or can try??

I heard some version of Swap Magic is blocked by firmware on ps3,
not sure which version will run.

I think you have a different version of the chip.
Yours starts with BA, maybe a new version?

Also, i still need the info if Metal Gear Solid 2 demo from ZOE bundle is a good PS2 swap CD.

The chip controls the laser movement for dvd players from what

Yo just cop Devil May Cry 1. when i had to see which is good to swap, some 1 devil may cry is the second game with the most TOC on it.
It was only $7 used. I'm enjoying it too, never played it. Wanna play pt4 for ps3 !!!

 

yes i cam confirm the laser stops spinnin with swap magic V2,, i only have that disc to try,, sum1 else might beable to confirm swap magic V3 etc...

I did 3 switch mod, and mod is working fine. I have a question though.

when PS3 is off, i turn off the sensor, whether the motor switch is automatic or manual, whenever i turn on sensor, PS3 starts. is it cuz ps3 thinks there is a disc trying to come in or get out? and is it bad?

lburner... if you have a method...then make a video tutorial or a pic tutorial...then send it thru mail service... keep it sealed with the ship date on it...that's your proof if anyone starts to make money with it...then you can sue them...lol...

ok since apparently no one uses Metal Gear Solid 2 Demo CD to boot PS2 CD Backups, what are you guys using then? (except gameshark and star wars racer)

Also, still no answer if Swap Magic stops the disc from spinning or not. It's not that I really mind waiting 5 minutes, but it sure would make the process easier and safer.

YO, i told you, i'm using DEVIL MAY CRY. I was also using GTA San Andreas and Vice City.

Yeah well, i was the one who said DMC was a good original, like 5 pages ago, but that's for PS2 DVD backups. I need recommendations for PS2 CD backups.
