Is the only Way to load PS2 Backup's to PS3?
USB advance USB Loader / External Hard drive method Not Working ????
I jumped in on this when this first came out and made myself a 3 switch mod with batteries, so I can turn off the mod when I don't need it. It still works when I manually load and unload the disk but it no longer works when I switch back to its original configuration. It just doesn't eat the disk or spit the disk back out automatically anymore. I think its because I flipped the switch back to original setting when PS3 was on and something got messed up.
1 What do you guys think is messed up? I wanna de-mod my PS3 but I can't do it unless I know what is wrong with it... so I can buy part from ebay and replace it...
2 Does it mean my sensor is working? when I try to insert my disk in the machine when it is off, it turns on automatically, but when i press eject and take the disc out, it still thinks the disc is still in there. I am just so effing lost.
Will this work on ps3 games that are 1:1 backups on bd-r?
No, it is for PS2 games.
im a newbie and would like to attempt, can somebody actually tell me what kind of switches to i actually need, and where would they available in the uk.
dbanga81, you need a 3-way DPDT Mini toggle switch.
Read the first 10 pages of this thread, they'll answer all your questions.
does it work with ps3 slim
does it work with the ps3 slim
Slim and the later fat models does not have the hardware/software needed to play PS2 games.
I know that swap switch is working for PS1 games on all ps3 fat. Will it (playing PS1 games) work on ps3 slim?
Hello everyone. I'm new in the forum. I been searching for the way to do this mod and just found this tread. All the pictures on the step by step write up are not visible anymore. Can some one please help me out with this?
Just do a jailbreak and play your PS2 backups off a harddrive.
