Hey I made an awesome theme. If you want it, download it here:

    Cool Theme

Sorry theres no pics. I dont have a screen capture or anything but I'll try to describe it. The friends section has smiley faces instead of boring boxes and squares, and the controller and camera are replaced with an actual camera and PS3 controller. The video section is replaced with a stage with curtains. Hope you enjoy it!

No you don't have to! You can put them on a Memory Stick, or a USB Drive, and then load it from there!

Though if you use a Memory Stick or USB Drive you have to do this:

Make a PS3 folder, and inside there make a THEME folder, and put the download (i.e. sample.p3t) in the THEME folder!

    PS3-->THEME-->file

Well, this is how I did it. Get a pen drive and put folders in it like this: PS3>THEME

Then drag the downloaded theme into the THEME folder and plug in the pen drive to your ps3. Go to Theme Settings, Install, and clickbthe pen drive, and you can choose which one to install. Click which theme you want and then apply it. Enjoy! =]

Hey tell me how you like my Theme. I would really appreciate comments!

P.S: I thought my PS3 Theme was very good, so I'm now working on the very 1st site with PS3 CUSTOM THEMES! I will keep it updated every so often because I will try to make custom themes every once and a while. ENJOY! XD

Alright I got it working! Here is my first Theme:

    Tux the Penguin

If you are a fan of Linux, then I think you would like this!

Props go to the guys over at Crystalxp for the Tux's they have created!

Hope you like it, as I'm actually getting a 60GB PS3 today (exchanging the 40GB for it)! So, please tell me how it turns out!!!

Once you have created the .p3t file, can you just rename it? Because mine is just sample.p3t

Open the "sample.xml" file in a text-editor and change: name="sample" to name="whateveruwant" . Then it wont come up as Sample in the XMB, also I recommend you change the "author" value as well so people can't take credit for your work.

No, put them on a thumb drive or memory card and then put them on your PS3.

Okay I'll give that a try!

I took back my 40GB PS3, to get a 60GB PS3 with a $100 MIR, and they gave me the 80GB instead (with Motorstorm, another Controller, and the $100 MIR) PRETTY AWESOME DEAL!

no.. Download them on your pc through the link provided for the Theme. PLace them on a pen drive/usb stick. Then plug it into your PS3, go to the settings area ,click on theme settings, then install the them. Once installed, go to the theme and apply it....

The only problem I'm having is where do you get icons or how do you make them so that I can put them in the sample to make my own. I have a couple of cool ideas but I don't know a thing about making my xml.
