Hello all, I am trying to hook my PS3 up to my Toshiba A505 laptop. There is a HDMI port on the side. I am wondering if it's possible to play my video game through my laptop LCD screen? I looked around but didn't know if there was an easier way to do this other than a HDMI capture card, or VGA capture card?

    Please help, Thanks

The HDMI port on your laptop is output only.

There are HDMI/DVI cappture cards, but they don't work with the PS3, as the video output from a PS3 is HDCP, and HDCP capture cards are illigal.

Other than using a component capture device, you won't be able to use your laptop screen as a PS3 screen.
