i'm pretty much "bi-Partision" to this topic before tryingout all systems. i have the 360 and just played the PS3 last week and i have to say the graphics are amazing on the PS3, no doubt, BUT the fps was like 20 constant which is totally unacceptable. If you don't know what fps is you probabaly don't care and don't know what the hell your talking about. But video console games shoud be at 30 fps, while PC games around 90. The game i played was that off road truck game.

bottem line:
ps3:amasing graphics but horriable fps.
360: Even balance between both. Amazing graphics also espcaily Gears of War

The 360 launch titles sucked? I'm sorry I disagree when the 360 came out we had Perfect dark Zero, Madden, PGR, NBA Live, NBA 2k6. I'm sorry if most people thought those games sucked, but to me all those games where awesome, and not to mention Call of Duty 2.

If the Ps3 launch titles sucked according to other people that's fine, but to say that other consoles had the same problem just to make others feel better is just plain wrong.

PS3 will be better in time, of that I'm pretty sure, but right now please don't say the 360 sucked or anything like that because thats just plain lying.

 

the only reason that people thought they were good was because when the 360 came out it was the first next gen so of course they would thin it was good

i am pretty sure that the devs have had their ps3 dev kitts for just as long as on the xbox 360. just b/c they launched it a year later does not have to mean they had a year less.

 

But see the reason the 360 launched early was because they though if they did then they would sell more and what happened??Half the consoles were messing up.So Sony moved their launch date so they can retest everything to make sure it works 100%

 

maybe, but im sure you would agree that the first time around for a game on a new platform doesn't look quite as well as its 2nd,3rd,4th time around. this was the devs first time around for ps3 titles so im not surprised that people feel the 360 versions look better...

 

yep lol the point I was tryin to make thanks Hade . I just think they are hittin the sweet spot on the 360 while they still are just begining with the Ps3 thats all I was saying. those screenshots look amazing for both consoles though , the sky is the limit :0) this time around for devs.

 

I would love to know how you got your opinion. If it is true that you have both consoles please tell me what it is that the 360 can't match? NO game out on PS3 has better graphics than the best 360 games. NO graphics on PS3 match GOW. Fact. And don't even try to put Resistance in the same leauge as GOW. COD3 is better on 360, as are other games on both platforms. There is no game on PS3 currently that could not be done on 360 as good if not better. Is it only because of Blu-Ray? Do you think it looks better? That is such a fanboy comment you made.
Nobody should cut Sony any slack for the rubbish they have put out. Console shortages, release date put backs in Europe and Australia, down converting to 480P and worst of all, just like PS2, trying to pass off CGI footage as in game footage on the PS3 at E3.

Now I have a PS2 and no Xbox. I have no 360 but my brother does, so I have played it.
I am not saying that PS3 wont end up being a good console but I am so dissapointed in Sony.

People should make Sony know that they are unhappy with the way they treat their customers. As you should do with M$. Dont sit there and make excuses for them.

Look i have a 360 and i can be the first to tell that Resistance does look better than alot of games the 360 has to offer.But looks dont always mean that a game is better because there has been alot of sites like Gamepro & Ign that rated Resistance real close to GOW.Is Resistance better than GOW i would say no but if you got a first gen game running that close to a Blockbuster title on the 360 that a win for Sony.Far as the problems the PS3 have its called having a First-Gen system but i have had no problem with my PS3 only my 360 but that was due to the fact that 360 was new then.

Please tell me why would you be so upset at Sony i hear this mess but why would you have to interact with them so much because since i had my 3 PS2's 2000 to 2006 i've called Sony only twice & Sony was more than helpful.They even offer to restore one of my PS2 for free but it was messed up due to the fact i open it up so i was at fault not them.

 

Why am I upset with Sony? Simple. I live in Australia. Our release date has been put back to next year. I saw the E3 demos in 2005 just like everyone else did. Sony was standing up there showing these demos off and passing off CGI as PS3 real time. Telling us that PS3 was a hardware generation ahead of 360. It aint. It's as powerful, not more. Now I find out me 1080i tv is only going to show the Blu-Ray movies I would have bought at bloody DVD resolution. 480P. That is just not good enough.

And the price is going to be around $1000 AUD for the console.
I am seriously annoyed that I have been waiting for a PS3 this long, now have to wait longer for a machine that is no better for games than 360, nearly twice the price and the advantage I would have got with paying more, that is a Blu-Ray player, is going to look no better than my $49.00 Made in China dvd player on my HD TV.

This is not good enough.

 

i would go with the ps3 because the ppl that made it took more time and plus xbox 360 iz gay even the gamz...like viva pinyata...get real...ps3 has sik azz games...if u disagree then i think ur a hater..holla bak at me

No where have I said 360 is better. I dont own either. However PS3 has done nothing to prove it is better than 360.
You made the comment that you have both consoles and 360 cannot match PS3. I asked you what on 360 couldn't match PS3. Certainly the graphics can be. Infact the best graphics on 360 surpass the best on PS3. Now if in time this changes then so be, but currently 360 can match PS3. The only thing that the 360 can't do is play Blu-Ray. But it can play HD-DVD with the add on.

the belief you have in sony is amazing. i love xbox live, i love gears of war and i really look forward to some of the great games coming out in 2007, but i also realise that m$ messed up their launch and delayed a lot of the AAA games till next year. you on the other hand by your statment sound like you work for sony.

 

Look there is a upside to the PS3 being push back to march one reason is for your TV.Sony is working on a patch that will fix the downscaleing issue so thats no problem(i think its the one i download this weekend 1.12).Please tell me your not mad at something that happen a year ago look i learn never listen to anyone unless you have view things yourself.Some of the reports come out are bias toward Sony & Microsoft,but how would we know which one are you dont so dont trust none of them.Trust your own judgement not theirs.Far as the power of consoles look dont get caught up in that Power stuff,Power never win console wars its [bold]GAMES[/bold].If you could remember the XBOX was stronger than the PS2 but that didnt mean anything.Sony still more than triple there sells to XBOX why?
