PS3 Vs. XBOX 360

ya i knew sony was feedin us a bunch of BS when they said it was real-time gameplay...dirty liars

 

both sony and microsoft are doing it...anyway...you might think xbox360 graphics are good now, but wait until later...i mean right now the creators are using the dev kit to test their games and everything, but once they get their hands on the xbox360 when its completed, they can improve on everything, because the xbox360 is using better hardware and tech. u no what i mean...the dev kit is only like 80-90% of the x360s true power, but once they use the x360 (the console itself), they can make their games 100%

 

PS3 is better period.plus it has photo realistic graphics. and the ps2 is way better than the x-box. x-box sux a$$ with sh!t games and graphics

 

im not a ms fanboy or anything but hey, u shudnt say that abou xbox...first off, xbox has better graphics than ps2...u shud no that..and you're saying xbox has shit games? did you know HALO was supposed to be developed for PS2...but Bungi sold like 20% or sumtinh of its company to MS, so halo was made exclusivly for xbox not ps2...did you no that? didnt think so...so your saying, if HALO was on PS2, it would suck? i mean before you say anything, get your facts straight. Dont get me wrong, i luv ps2, i like it a lot more than xbox, cuz of the games and because of gameplay and shit like that...plus the controller is 100x better. PS3 is obviously going to be better...i mean a whole year or more after the xbox 360 is released....thats a long time...but you gotta understand...xbox360 will probably have some better things, like online thingy and probably the OS or w/e...i mean wat if X360 used Windows Vista (Longhorn)...dammm...so like i said, ps3 is going to be better than xbox360 at most thing, but x360 will probably be better than ps3 as some things.

grow up your acting like a lil bitch stop saying xbox1.5. the xbox360 is using 3 prosser which can prosses 2 times more then the PS3, the PS3 can prosses the imfomation fast in 1 prosser almost 2time more so both in prosser power are about even. but the xbox360 graphics card is going to be weaker then the PS3 but the xbox360 graphics card is going to run graphcis but will have more speed its going to work kinda like a prosser and graphics in one kinda. and the xbox360 will have to have a HD it will have a need for a hard dirve unlike the PS3 which will give the xbox a very little avantage. the CEO of velve said that both consoles will be agazing to play games on but harder to make for. then he goes on to say the xbox360 will be a little easies to make games for, but the PS3 is going to change gaming even if its not that better. now lets talk about games right now the xbox360 have better games but like i said for now.its most likely only going to be 60 games more then the PS3 when it comes out. the xbox360 can play any music you want if you like rap then play rap if you like 60s or 80s or even rock now you can have it play on your xbox360 and what if you have a i pod, PC or even a PSP you can just put your play list on the xbox360. the xbox360 live going to have a free service for not playing chating and downloads but on weekends you can play for free then the other one you can have full xbox live service. and last but not less the price, the xbox360 will be $300 but the PS3 will be over $400 and maybe more at this point but we dont know 100%

 

that is not true MS is going for realistic graphics that is what maker of MGS said but games like FF will look better on PS3 not xbox games like S. cell and G. recon will look better on xbox360.

 

no thats not true the DC came out 2 years to early so they dont have to go aganist the PS2 but now the PS3 is moving they date later so they dont have to fight against the xbox360 and halo3.

you got me i do like MS.it was the xbox or PS2 then my younger brother saw something that said the xbox had a hard drive and better graphics so the xbox won.i had only sega and MS consoles(expt NES) and not planing to change that.

 

I'd say the graphics on the PS3 are better but it all depends on the games. The 360 is going to be cheaper but within 6 month to a year the price will be almost even.

PS3 Will be better than X360...6 months is a very long time, Sony will probably update and fix the system, and plus, Playstation 3 will prolly have better exclusive games...maybe another hit like God of War, and Killzone for PS3 will be better than the previous one for Ps2, but i doubt itll be better than Halo 3, but it will be good. You can't judge the upcomming KillZone just because the first on e sucked ass and had problems with it.

Oh and BTW....PS3 will probably have full or 90% backwards compatibility with PS1 and for sure PS2 Games...unlike Xbox360...you can only play top selling games....hmm i wonder what those are...Halo, Halo 2, DOA....and the rest all FPS...Xbox is a FSP System and obviously Xbox360 will have backwards compatibility with all the MS games.

 

i heard from friends that Killzone had no story and it sucked bad very bad.

i play MS games most of the time on xbox so it isnt that bad, and + the xbox was made to last unlike PS2 it can last for years and years.

not true the xbox360 will be able to play the top games. and you should know the PS3 will be able to play every PS1 and PS2 but thats like Nitendo and PS1 games are just sh*t like my old saturn games and the N64 games so whats the point.

yea but not going to be like PS2 and xbox or even xbox and GC.the PS3 cost to be better made it drop the HDD which can save money for you by not having you buy MCs. and it will still cost at least 100 more then the xbox360.

fighting games(tecken) and racing games are gay very very gay and i will never buy one so that takes 2 games form the PS3. FF f*g f*g is a rpg but fable made it look bad. MGS sounds gay its just Sh*t. on paper the xbox360 and PS3 will have about the same amound of RPGs and Exclusive. + most 3rd party games are better then 1st party games. S cell CT got perfect ratings on the PS2, xbox , and GC.

 

ok, actually Meal Gear SOlid (the whole series) is good, look at the ratings, usually in the 8s and 9s. And if you're saying racing games are bad, than your saying that Gotham game for X360 wuill be "gay", and if you're saying fighting games like tekken are bad, then you're just saying DOA is bad. X360 graphics dont look too impressive, everything is basically pre-rendered...and i saw this killer city game or w/e...and graphics arent that nice...trust me.

 

well here is my opinion. PS2 came out in 99 or 2000 right? MS didnt release the xbox until late 2001. The numbers show that the 1st console released has better sales. as much as i like xbox, it has gotten its ass kicked by PS. but that is going to change. Microsoft has finally gotten global appeal with the japanese market and is coming out, from what i have read, a whole year, maybe year and a half before the PS3. That will give microsoft what it needs to take over the console market. Oh and not to mention PS3 will cost at the least $700, and xbox360, a mere $400.

 

Of course they are pre-rendered. The ps3 is doing the exact same thing. At this stage we have no idea what the games will look like on the consoles until they are released. For eg. X360 games were previewed at E3 however they were running on G5 processors and not on a 360 so we can not be sure of their ability. If you seriously think that the screen shots recieved for the ps3 are not pre-rendered then you are an idiot. (or a playstation whore)

You have a point, but there was a poll or a servey in Japan, and most of the Japanese people chose PS3 to be the most powerful system, then X360, then Nintendo Rev.

 

Ps2 only sold more than xbox because it came out before but now xbox 360 will come first. xbox 360 will also be cheaper and 360 will have a hard drive. and xbox isnt just a fps system, can you say Fable? Jade Empire? Knights of the Old republic? Morrowind was the best Rpg of its time and Oblivion, the next in the Elder Scrolls series, is going to own any Rpg ps3 can throw at it. Even Square is putting a Final Fantasy game on 360. Ps2 owners make the arguement that games are better than graphics so even if Ps3 has better graphics it wont make a difference unless its games are good. And by the way i own a ps2 so i can say this, God of War wasnt that great! i beat it in like 2 days. It reminded me of Prince of Persia.

 

Actually, mostly all the popular Xbox games are FPS...Halo, Halo 2, Doom 3, and some other ones. And for X360, they keep making FPS games, i mean, they keep making them and they seem like their the same all the time, for example: Halo, Doom, Prey, Gears of War. Those 4 seem all the same....kill aliens and save the world or sum unknown planet.

 

just because fps games are popular doesnt mean it is only good for first person shooters. i named several popular rpg games and they all sold big. if you check out more about the 360 you will notice that several game makers are lining up to put their games on the 360 and they are not only first person shooters. i would love to have a ps3 but it will cost too much and xbox has proven it is reliable and you have to admit, xbox live is a great, unique service and everyone will get it for free.(even if you dont get to play during the week)
