PS3 Vs. XBOX 360

There wil aways be a fight between sony fans and Microsoft fans. I heared the same things you mentioned from others who prefer the xbox, and I hear arguments against the Xbox, who prefer the Playstations, there is nothing much to do about it, except to adjust their arguments to reality, and take them less serieus.

how do u know if the stuff was rendered? did sony say it ? and still, look at the amount om ai characters in da game and the way they move, and the way everything behav.. real physics.... and every1 says killzone was rendered... look at f1 or the insomnia game.. final fantasy... i cant belive that sony would render all the in game scenes.. as they would know that they are fucked if it comes out.. (at least after selling a few) and unreal turnament looks fusking gorgeous.. and they said that they just worked 2 month in that small demonstration... look at the power of cell, with the leaves, hunderts of thousands of leaves.. and every singel one of them could have its own 5.1 dolby audio channel... thats fusking amazing... hunderts of thousands of audio chanels... look at the london demonstration.. or motorstorm (gorgeous) ... look at the eye toy shit.. and i havent even started... that all looked like real time to me... if thats all fake, why do u think they would even make that stuff... specially if u see the game developers with that spark in there eyes...2 tera flops man.. thats like a supercomputer with the size of a house (if not bigger..) they used a computer with round 10 terraflops to create spiderman... thats 5 cell chips conected together .. and thats possible thanks to multible processing shit... sorry bout my writing.. but im a bit drunk lol ... but theres no way.. specially after MS did not show a single specification in the conf but sony even compared ps3 with xbox360... cell is going to change the world man its not just a step like from 486 to pentium, its more like a step from no computer to p4... 120 times faster than p4... how the fusk is that possible... i know im just repeating what they said, but they didnt lie with ps1 nor with the ps2.. ...so i belive them with the third one... and lets talk about micosofts xbox360... they really mentionen that there would not be any kind on machine in the next 3-4 years that would even come close to the peformance of the xbox...
(bullshit) ... just because they can change there cover of the fusking box... tell me one thing that was/is GOOD and made by microsoft... and dont start with halo, thats bullshit 2 and thats bc halo was created by a hand of ppl, then microsoft bought the fusker... and can u remember how long it took to come out?!?!?! it took ages... if MS would not have bought the shit then it would have been out a year before it actually came out and there would have been a PC version... but no... Microsoft is just in da game be fusking bill gates got the benja. he even thought that the internet was useless... and he was just lucky that he had that much money so he could come back into the business... the only thing he did was dos, even win3.11 was acctually made by other guys... he worked on 3.1 which was shit.. then some 2 guys sat down a few night and fixed all the common fucked up windows errors and made 3.11 which was a seller... Sony never made anything useless while Microsoft always tryed to make it there way no matter if its good or not... finally, if u just see the faces of the ps3 ppl that present it then u know whats going to hit us next year... there smile is priceless... ok i hope i can buy it for no more than 500 if ya know what i mean.... pezzz out

i did not say anything bad to anyone, so i dont get ur problem..... and im just a member so i could add the few notes in xbox vs ps3... thread...when i excused myself that i was a bit drunk, i acctually ment my gramar and spelling, not the other stuff.. are we in da usa or what lol.. whats so bad about me saying that stuff.. i did not do anything bad...im just expressing myself with stuff like thats fusking gorgoeus... wich is nothing bad at all... it be more like the higest grade of compliments... i gonna stop anyway... i said all i wanted

 

What was that drunken rambling all about!!?? I didnt understand a word. Just when u looked like u were getting to a point, you'd go off on another tangent like how Bill gates hates the internet.
And i think you'll find that alot of those PS3 demos are not in game. Example: Take any tekken game released. They have kick ass graphics on the intro compared to the actual in game graphics. Not saying that in game tekken is bad graphics, just saying compared to the intro 'movie' they suck. Clever trick to make you think its great. And they can say, "hey, even those its an intro, its still on a PS3, right? So PS3 IS capable of those sort of graphics, just not in game".
We will just have to wait and see. I hope im wrong. Im sure the graphics on alot of games will be great (hopefyully for GTA photo realism baby! photo realism).

 

Just because Sony rendered their PS3 game previews, doesnt mean X360 didn't. You think the videos are real, well you're wrong, even though its coming out in a couple of months, the videos are still pre-rendered. And i don't know why people are saying Xbox graphics are better...they might be a bit clearer, but it dont make it better. To me the graphics are pretty much the same, and to tell you the truth, I'd rather have a PC than an XBox...PC can do more and you can update the Video and Sound cards. Xbox is not a true gaming system, neither is Playstation, but its closer than Xbox. An example of a true gaming systm or company is Nintendo.

 

ok i didnt mention teken... sure tecken was video... but they showed so many games as ingame specialy shooting games ...and i feel like u ppl dont have any idea about computers eg about the power of computer, i guess u think a p4 3,6 Ghz is much better than a cell 3,2... or that 2 GB ram are much better than the 512 of any of the consoles.... both consoles are groundbreakin.... and everything i wrote made sence... ... .. no man i gonna stop, here are too many ppl in da thread that seem like they dont have a coue about anything going on in the world of electronice.. .... all the companys thad make computers made the ps3 IBM SONY TOSHIBA ... so if they say its groundbreaking then why dont u ppl belive them??? i dont get u... pc lol intel and amd can pack there stuff after the consoles comeout.... the point of the consoles was to make them not just gameconsoles but comunication consoles... new kind of PC ... cell got so much power that u can convert 12 movies in HD 2000*1000 Quality at the same time in Like 30Min ... where a pc takes like 20 to 30 hours for a single video in just 640*480 .. (and im not talkin about ripping them of a dvd couse that takes just15 min anyway) thats not rendered... but it realy sems like u guys got no idea of the power of cell... i would say more good things bout xbox, but i just didnt see any demonstration which showed that it was that good... cell and rsx are a dream come true for every real computer freak.... what i hate most are the ppl that say oh they are not good, and when they comes oout they just gonna say .. i told u all the time that they are better than pc... too many yes sayers... if u dont know ur shit then leave it(all the ppl that where about to write some stupid comment about my last line ... like .. why should i know my shit, thats dusgusting.. are stupid.. thats a fact.. ) and there is no way that ppl realy belive that the screenshots look the same eg better on xbox... u really ignorant.. im not even that much of an console fan... the last one i bought was SNES.. but at least i know whats coming up and ... i definatly know my shit... cu, woudnt wanna be ya... account deleted..

 

Yeah....thanks for your contribution Monstars. Some of us do know a little about PC architecture so don't be such a moron. I saw a lot of PS3 vidoes from E3 and knew instantly that Killzone was fake. Maybe in 5 years we will see that kind of game with that much detail but not yet. And when you say that Inte/AMD will need to pack their bags when PS3 comes along just shows how little you know about PC's. The PC CPU and video card market is moving at an alarming pace, so much quicker than consoles as they need to have a decent 2-3 year shelf life. A video card is usually replaced within 6-8 months with something faster. By the time PS3 is out we may even see the first quad-core AMD processor. If not it will not be long (early 2007). Pc's will eventually always be king of the graphics front purely for the reason that Nvidia and ATI are fighting each other to have the most powerful card. If you saw Doom 3 on a high end PC you would just dribble! I mean resolution of 1600x1200 and 16xAA and 16xAF. If you such an expert you will no what I mean by that stuff. It's the software that isn't moving so quick and most software is designed with all types of PC's/graphics cards in mind. Hell, if ID software made a game purely for a high end system like mine......you would be blown away. I mean just look at 'Prey'. Wow. And the Unreal PS3 demo while it maybe in realtime what did you actually see...? One small area and a couple of high detail characters. The full game will have lots of area's, NPC's and AI to deal with so the detail level will need to drop. The finished game will not look as good. And if it does then I'll be impressed. I will buy an Xbox360 and PS3 becasue I love games, and some games you can only play on console's. But for me PC's will always be one step ahead of console's graphically. Sorry to waffle on about PC's but that guy needed to be told. Anyhow I love consoles too. Can't wait for Halo 3, MGS4, GT5......oh man it'll be good!

When thinking the console is going to last out the PC market, let me tell you this now, NEVER. The PC has become unreplaceable in our lives, and All the compagnys working with computers, arent going to get a PS3 IN THE OFFICE, neh, I dont think so. Well some conflict here... but if you ask me only a few games have been prerendered like madden 2006 on the 360 and killzone 2 on the PS3 but no matter what its still gonna be good so... no complaints please thats just my own opinion.

 

Windows? I might be using windows now, but from what I've seen, Windows has the worst security ever and every Windows has atleast 10-15 problems or bugs.

 

Windows is not the best. Although XP64bit is awesome and Vista is amazing too (I have a beta version). But..........compared to the Mac's OS X Tiger Windows is terrible. Will teh 360 be powered by a version of Windows? I heard that it might (liek the ill fated Dreamcast).

 

I think Windows is very cosumer friendly, I havent had Mac's OS X Tiger, so I cant judge on that. And about the bugs on windows, I havent found any so far ^^(lucky me). Its possible that Mac's OS X Tiger or other program are better, but so far Windows XP Pro works fine for me ^^.

Its true that there are products of MS that I dislike, like internet explorer, but I dont believe Bill Gates got rich with terrible products, and that was my point of my last reply.

 

Every browser, every OS, every program has flaws. Lot's of them too, but the OS and programs that are used by more people (Windows and IE by a landslide) are targeted by hackers. FF and OSX just haven't been huge targets yet, but if they become the majority, then hackers will exploit them.

I have no problem with Windows XP and IE. It's called a $70 security suite, maintenence, and a little know-how.

By the way, there have over 30 security holes found in FF so far. You have to always be downloading the new versions. At least IE w/windows auto-updater patches everything for me everyday.

The only people here that make any resonable sense here is HipN and halo360. They are the only ones here who know what they are talking about. Some people are like oh blah ps3 is going to kick 360's asss aaaah blah! ::loser:: They actually get the facts so you guys should take some lessons from them.
