I took my ps3 apart to clean the fan because it was dusty and making a funny noise. When I put it all together, it wouldn't turn back on. All I get is a single beep with the light turning red then green and then nothing after that. The fan doesn't turn on and there's no video. has anyone seen this problem before?
Maybe just try resetting the video Output as it sounds to me like it is starting normally. Hold the Power Button until you hear 2 beeps for the PS3 to auto detect its video output.
make sure u connected back all the ribbons to the motherboard and their components. did u take the fan apart fromt he motherboard? if so, there is prolly some space between the rsc or cpu and it may be keeping it from booting properly. if u didnt them it may just be a ribbon or something liek that
