I stupidly bought PSO instead of a modchip. anyway my game cube doesnt want to connect to my PC. i have tried the exact settings in the PSO tutorial and i still dont get a connection. i have tried many things but they dont work. heres my pc's settings: Connection-specific DNS suffix :Belkin IPaddress :192.168.2.2 Subnetmask :255.255.255.0 Default Gateway :192.168.2.1 I tried setting my PC's IP to static, but then i lose connection to my router? Here's my PSO settings: -manually set an IP adress -do not automaticly disconnect currently: IPadress :192.168.2.3 Subnet mask :255.255.255.0 Default Gateway :192.168.2.1 Primary DNS :192.168.2.2 i have tried using these numbers: Default Gateway :192.168.2.1 Primary DNS :192.168.2.1 Default Gateway :192.168.2.2 Primary DNS :192.168.2.2 and many others, can any1 help me ps i get the NO.102 error when its tring to connect to the DNS server
do you have a standard version of pso the reason im asking is because there are two versions of pso for gamecube 1. is pso standard 2.. is pso gold or pso special edition if you have gold or special edition im sorry to say you are screwed sega fixed these versions so the network connection trick doesn't work and because most copy's of this game are now gold edition's have fun trying to find a standard edition so im sorry to say it sounds like you have a gold edition or special edition version the sucky thing is you cannot tell the diffreence in packaging only when you try to run this exploit
thx, but i found a thread that helped me with my problem it seems that my firewall or somthing was blocking my connection with PSO
you cannot ell which one is plus or gold the only thing that changes is when you try to logon online the menu system online is differrent that si the only true way to tell but you must have a seganet account to use pso online to try it
gamemaste, I am having the same problem...can you point me to the other thread that helped you solve your issue....
I dont remember the tread but i do remember what i did 1)if you have a router it might help to open your routers page in ur IE 2)to access your router type its IP address optional 3)mine is 192.168.1.1 yours might be different to find out your routers IP go to your start menu click run then type cmd then ok then type ipconfig in your command line then you should see your IP optional 4) If your IP is somthing like 192.168.2.2 then your routers address might be 192.168.2.1 5) In your rouster's page use DMZ, dont ask me how to do this if you still have a problem check your PSO settings to see if auto disconnect is off and make sure your NGC settings and you PC settings are the same as what they tell you in the tutorial
