PSP 1.5 help please

Hi guys I bought myself a white psp with firmware 1.5 from ebay as a present for myself for christmas this one here

Anyway I dont know have a clue of what I need to play homebrew play back up games etc so if someone could tell me in simple terms or has a guide which will show me how to play my back up psp games,homebrew games,ps1,n64 emulators will you please help.I have read the devhook guide but its very intense please help

Just another question if you dont mind my friend has a psp with firmware 2.81 he says he can play psp game back ups with using dev hook 0.51 is that true have I just spent an extra £100 for nothing by getting the 1.5 version

 

soz mate, you cant play isos on anything thats higher then 2.71.

 

2.81 has an exploit but nothing serouis yet and only some things work...your friends lyring about iso on it.....but 1.5 is the best firmware for iso,homebrew,emulators and all that stuff...

 

hey guys. Since you guys are always so helpful when it comes to my problems, I have a question for you. I have a PSP with firmware 1.5 on it. Is there any way to play Socom on it without upgrading to firmware 2.0? I have devhook and all the other apps, can I use one of those? Thanks in advance guys, I really appreciate it.

 

Or just upgrade to 302 OE-A, you dont need DevHook, just create a folder called ISO in the root of your memory stick, place your ISO or CSO in there and play straight from the GAME menu. ;P
