PSP 2.6 - 1.5 Downgrade

i dont know if this has been brought up, but firmware 2.6 HAS BEEN HACKED!!!!!! It uses GTA saves.... so its only anygood if u hav GTA, and so far only pong and tetris have been released, but there is also a DEVELOPMENT KIT for it. have a look at pspudates or psp-vault and you should be able to find it. I didnt make it btw, Fanjita did. HOORAY FANJITA... at least i think its fanjita......

 

someone really has to find a hack or im buggered lol i got like a lot of games 2 put on my psp but it just says currupted data

 

FYI, just bought a PSP today from Fry's and it came with version 2.0

This was a Fry's in Sacramento, CA. So it's still out there...

i downloaded that 2.6 and it is real but i alrady had the real 2.6 so i couldnt use it or well over write it it says u already have 2.6 no need to update .i had another one and it came up as corupted file so im pretty sure the first one is real.an me as well am waiting for a downgradable from 2.6.it was cracked by tha fajida person u can play a few homebrew but not the umd emulator ,which is bummung me out. because i have alot of games too.skpippins

i would buy the 4gb stick for movies and music. as for games we might have to wait a long long long time. (1 to infinity years)

Some guy is selling a 2.6-1.5 downgrader on ebay, thought this couldn't be done yet, or is he just a scammer????

Thought so, he's sold 7 already, there's gonna be some pretty disappointed people out there!!!!! Anyone know how much of a risk it is to downgrade v2.0 to v1.5? Really would like to do it but don't wanna have to fork out another £150 if it screws it up

 

mate you'll be safe, dnt worry just dont unplug the mains adapter from the psp while downgrading, it will F**k it up like hell, that's it, everything else should Be fine, many people have done it well and good

Hello, im new here so forgiv me if im wrong but when sony bring a higher version of fw than 2.6 couldnt someone do what that guy did where it incorperates version 1.5 into 2.6 so it playes the games ect?

This is the problem when Sony brings out the new firmware it will be hard to crack, at the mo firmwares 2.01 and higher ave only bein cracked in user mode and they still avent got access to KERNAL mode yet, so its gona be awhile before this happens, i take it u want to run ISO,s?

 

Lol its my nickname! lol yup so baseically im fu**** unless i can swap my psp with someone. Do you think what he did with 2.6 would be possable with the next version?
