PSP 3000 Custom Firmware ( not my psp need help teehee :D )

Hi,
My friend gave me his PSP to install custom firmware, unfortunately he had gone and updated his psp (you know how some people are they think newer is better and go update there psp to the latest firmware without thinkin it through) anywhooo the firmware version is 5.70 official firmware I was about to open up the battery to turn it pandora, good thing I did'nt its not mine and I dont want to brick it
so is there anyway to install custom firmware on the psp?
I really dont want to have to take the psp back to school the way it was
this guy thinks I dont know how to install CSF I want to prove him wrong

why were you going to take the battery apart on a psp3000 i mean this is only reinforcing that you really dont know whats going on

best you can do is install chickhen ... ive never done it myself cause i have a real hackable psp... you can prob find some chickhen info on google

 

Actually no, you can't. ChickHen can only be installed on a PSP with OFW 5.03, anything above and you are totally unable to hack it.

 

Well I do, but I've been away from the whole PSP sceen for some time now so I'm a little rusty I haven't been up to date on all the things that have been going on, what I meant was this guy does'nt know anything about psp's I told him about CSF and ISO because he kept complaining about prises of UMD's I'm not a complete n00b
