PSP analogue stick

Hi my psp analogue stick aint working i replaced it with a working one too and yet still nothing. any ideas?

 

By "replaced" to you mean the entire peice of hardware? or the little nub itself?

I have seen some guides that fix the type of thing you are talking about, just be alittle more clearer on what you mean.

 

Yeah you replaced the whole analogue bit not just the nub. because i took the whole analogue bit out of another PSP which i knew worked.
