Now you're going to have to change your signature to say PSP v1.5

MPH seem to have done so much for the PSP community, it's a shame that they have to remain anonymous due to the nature of their work..

Ok let me just check, as I have lost count of hoax downgraders.... :(

I have a uk PSP firmware v1.52, I am assuming that I need to update to v2.00 then I can use the downgrader to get to v1.50

I saw a link to it before reading about it here, is this the same thing?

    http://www.psp-vault.com/DownloadDetails541.psp

I really nee to know this will work before I brick my PSP, also another quick question. Do I have to repeat this process everytime I start the PSP or is it done for good once I go through the process?

Use the standard Sony update to revise the firmware to v2.0 then use the downgrader (apparently you have to have 75% battery charge before you do this). The downgrader will then permanently revise the firmware to 1.5. You can always use the standard Sony update to move back onto 2.0 if you wish in the future!

Help my PSP can't charge anymore.

I am at the step of updating version 1.50. Although I plug in the adapter but forgotten to switch on the power. Therefore the updater didn't manage to proceed.

I switch on the power but the PSP can't be charged anymore. The battery information stated 67% but the meter bar is full. It also stated that the battery source is still the battery. The version is currently ver 1.00, but all the 2.00 staff is still there, background, web browser.

So now the main issue is it can't be charged to be updated.

    Help. Help. Help!!!

I've heard no reports of bricking. I downgraded a PSP for someone today and it wasn't that hard. It can be scarey because it seems like you may have bricked it when it's downgraded but it's fine. 1.51 to 2.0 to 1.50 no problemo.

Dont worry about that file I read about it in another guide it is not really needed. your PSP will crash when you load the image up as per instruction all you do is hold the power button for as long as it take to turn off, it will take allot longer than normal then carry on wit the guide it will work that is what I did
