    @juventus1...do you have a smiley face icon on your memory stick? did you use fastloader to dump the file or what? where do you have the fastloader files located?

    @lalala666...try this take and copy ALL your files(except the movies and pics)...and paste them on your comp...then reformat your memory stick and once reformatted replace all the files and try to put the movies and pics back on....good luck..

    @peterttt..all of those files go onto your memory stick not your actual system...you should be ok...and they aren't going to come knocking on your door for homebrew...so don't worry...it's cool....

    @cafelah...where do you have your folders placed(and what files are they)?

    @socomluva...ok right click on the one with the "01" or ".001" next to it and select Extract Here(it should then extract the iso to that folder)...if that option isn't available select Open...and Don't click ok...look to the bottom and the two bubbles at the bottom...select the "choose program" one..then select winrar..a new window will pop up with the iso in it...right click on that file and select Extract to...then select your Desktop as the destination...then once extracted...copy that file and place it in the ISO folder on your psp...and start up with UMDEMULATOR...should work...

    holla ;)

    If I have a psp version 1.51, is that the same as 1.50? or Do I have to upgrade to 2.00 then downgrade to a 1.50? or can I directly downgrade 1.51 to a 1.50? Thanks

    PSP folder has
    - SAVEDATA
    - PSP --> GAME --> FASTLOADER
    ------------------> FASTLOADER%
    - ISO (PLACED .ISO FILE HERE)
    - ISOMISC

    Thats what i did. and it still doesn't work.

    I've read this whole thread quickly in 5 days, so i hope i don't ask the same question.
    I have downloaded some torrent PSP games "6 games + launchers"(torrentspy.com). None of these are ISO formated. They all work using the launchers provided.
    My questions are what is the eaisest method for changing these "games" to ISO format? Can I use the UMD_DATA.bin file from another (any) game to make a new ISO? in other words are all the "UMD_DATA.bin" files the same? I have used the VCDRomX to change the files labeled "blah.001, blah.002, ect." to ISO with some difficulty (still a little unsure) is this method similar.
    P.S. Much respect to EVENFLOW for your ability, knowledge, and mostly patience.

    cafelah: it seems that ur iso and isomisc folder are in the wrong place.

    put the iso and the isomisc folder in the root directory side by side with the psp folder NOT in the psp folder itself. keep the fastloader/fastloader% in the psp/game dir. then put ur iso in the iso folder and u should get it working no?

    I don't think so. I haven't tried it, but I bet you could use the demo umd that came with your psp.

    I have a question, if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

    I got UMDEmulator and 1.5 working on my psp as well as a friends. Game ISOs work just fine as long as I have a game UMD in the drive. However if I have a movie UMD in the drive it always states, after choosing the ISO, "cannot start due to invalid region code" (or something like that).

    I figured changing the settings to show;

    disctype ISO:game
    disctyoe UMD:movie

    would work but it did not. I tried changing region codes too and no go either...

    Is there a way around this or does it HAVE to be a game UMD to have UMDE run game ISOs?

    helo all,

    just got ssx but problem is the iso is over 1.31 gig and i only have 1g ms. tried shrinking it with YA_UMD_iSO_Shrinker v0.3b, yeah it shrank all right but just around 20mb.

    then i downloaded ssx ripkit and it got all these folders that i dunno what to do with, maybe repacking the psp_game and umd_data bin with vcdromx?? well the problem is all the files are 0 kb??

    0.pad - 0kb
    0param.sfo - 0kb
    0data.bin - 0kb
    0eboot.bin - 0kb
    01.pad - 0kb
    ssx ripkit (ms-dos batch file) - 1kb

    anyone can help? or tried using any ripkit for ssx?

    Quick question. I was dumping MLB from fastloader.07 and I split it up into two files one 800 mb and one 400 mb. Then I opened the first one in WinRAR, but the second wouldn't open. Has anyone else had this problem? I got a PSP_GAME and a bin file from WinRAR, but it was only 800 mb and the iso that I made from it wouldnt even run. Thanks.

    Just a quick note to people dumping a umd form fastloader. When you split the files either in 2 or 3 you need to stich them together the best way to do this is with a file joiner programme. Just google it or go to download.com and do a quick search. Once the file joiner has stiched all the parts together rename the file extension to ".iso" no need to convert it as it is a ISO DUMP form fastloader.

    Hope this helps some peeps.

    @evnflow... nope it still won't work. I think its a problem with the file itself because all other mp4 files work fine.

    @nbaflash - well if u got all the files in the right places (iso, fastloader, fastloader% etc) and u got 1.5 and the iso isn't corrupted then i see no reason why it wouldn't work.

    try using other loaders like devhook and umdemulator (fastloader 0.8c). some games requires 1.51 or even 2.0 (like gta liberty city)to run. search the forum for any tips to get around this. i got wipeout, virtua tennis, lumines, ssx, coded arms, burnout and it all worked fine with umdemulator.
