PSP FW 1.5 want to play GOW

I have a psp at firmware 1.5 and want to play God of War. Will Devhook .52 work or am I going to have to wait on a new version of Devhook?

 

devhook is not getting updated and won't have a new version. it's outdated and custom firmware took it's place.

upgrade to custom firmware; it's much better.

 

Just update to 3.90m33-3. Its very good and stable.

 

I'm a noob so this will most likely be a dump question. Will change my psp's firmware from 1.5 to a higher version?

 

yes. you'll be going to a higher one, but it's much better than 1.5 alone.
