once we update to 5.50 Gen-D3 is it suppose to say Gen-D(Full)? i checked it and it said Gen-D(Full)

 

yeah thats right, seems to have glitches, i have 3 psp's right here 2 will play avatar, and one wont. go figure, the one that wont has a photo flash card in it, with 16gb

 

Alright fellas, I understand that I am getting into this convo a little late, but I need some help here. I'm a pretty AVID PSP tinkerer, however this multi level GEN release is messing me up a bit. I understand the necessity to revise, that is not my issue, my issue is that I cannot find a good source for all the release, and the tutorial that go so much good praise is no longer available.

Here is my other set of issue: I received a Pandora Battery from a buddy of mine who was under the impression that it would not work on his slim...after I confirmed that it did, (I have an Original Phat, and a Red Kratos) I sent the PB back to him so that he could hook his up. After hooking a few people up around my way as well...this lead to additional requests. Well my buddy sent the PB back and it's been about 8 weeks or longer, and the 5.50GEN-A / GEN-B has gone all the way up to GEN-D2...I'm sure I can sort all of that out, this is the kicker...I initially was able to get my Kratos PSP to 5.50Gen-A and didn't want to go any further...now I have another Kratos PSP in front of me and I cannot for the life of me get it to go to even 5.00m33-X. I was also given a Phat to hook up and with the same files I tried to use on the Kratos unit, I was able to move the Phat all the way up to 5.50GEN-B from a OFW of 6.01 I believe.

It is possible that certain version of this Kratos AR082233XXX-PSP-2001 PSP is somehow limited...or am I just missing something here??? Any feed back (on the topic) would be greatly appreciated.

yea we got it to download i believe the link will be uploaded or something like that and credited to the one who found it

 

i am seriously thinking of rolling mine back to d2, the avatar game is not that great, mtx still does not work, and i lost my njester, and sn9 emulators. i think d3 must have alot of glitches. oh by the way the link was working fine for people last night, this morning seems the webpage is down.

it seems that they have already released another version of this, last night at 11 or so, i installed it dont notice much difference at all i'm sure they will be updating it again soon.

 

whats the brick chance for this the same as m33 or higher?

and i heard about softmodding your battery to make a pandora battery
can a pandora's battery be changed back to a regular one?

Hey . . . needing some help from you PSP 'Masters'. . . . have a fat running 4.01 m33. Bought LB Planet. Want to keep CFW but run the game. From reading, I think I need to get to 5.00 m33-6 then to 5.5 gen-D2 (following the appropriate steps of course). Where should I start?

I asked this question last week but received no response...can somebody help me out here...?

I have a 2000 TA84 Red (Kratos) PSP that is kicking my ass right now. It is a friend of mines and I have for the last 5 days been trying to install CFW 5.00 to 5.50GEN builds but have been completely unsuccessful. I personally have this same type of PSP, and mine is currently running 5.50GEN-A.

I believe that when the new Kratos PSP was given to me it was at OFW 6.01...could this have been my issue? I used a Pandora Battery which flashed it to the 4.01m33-2 CFW. I'm thinking that this too could be part of the problem...should the CFW install skip the 4.01m33 initial install and jump to the m33-2?

On top of that I just modded 2 Phat 1000's, went from 2.81 OFW directly to the 5.50GEN-A then to GEN-B then to GEN-B2, however when I tried to jump up to GEN-D I was faced with issues. Has any one else had any of these same problems, and can any of you help me with my situation? The Phats have moved on and their owners are happy at GEN-B-2, but I have currently admitted defeat to the Kratos PSP, but I wold love to have a rematch! Any feed back wold be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

i went from 3.71m33 to 5.00m33 then update(-6) and the gens as follows a b b2 d d2 d3 i used pandora battery to 3.71m33 and normal for the rest pm me and ill send the word document with pictures to your email address if you wish

 

i want to upgrade to d3 but i downloaded the file and extracted it and now have a pbp file but where do put it i have tried game , game150, iso just about everywhere nothing works do i have to create a folder somewhere. cheers.

 

dont worry i discovered it has to be in a folder labeled update and the pbp on your ms root. i already had gen-d update folder on my pc from previous updates and the folder was extracted to it which is why i got bamboozled because i couldnt find the missing folder.
