PSP Guy needs PS2 Help

Hey guys, Im trying to fix a neighbours ps2 and i got no clue. I pin-pointed the hardware error to the laser. As the game boot, starts to run, Playstation logo shows, then the laser seems like its chugging. I opened it, and manually slide the laser. Towards the middle it slides rine, away from the middle it kinda bumps, like driving on multiple tiny speed bumps with a car.
Does anyone know how I can fix this issue.

 

I got no idea but the best way would be to get it done by a pro.
