I bought a 4 gig from someone for 35 bucks still in packaging sticker everything looks 100% real, everything is good, pins/numbers/sticker/warranty is still good everything, dude even said "any problems ill replace it just call me for a year". So.. Everything works on it, plays anything I put on it, but the TRANSFER SPEED is extremely slow (1.3-1.4 MB/S). Is this regular for sony brand sticks? I mean I dont mind it really all the games play fine, its just the speed from my PC > Stick is crazy slow. My question is still, do you think its a good deal? I mean 69.99 new or 35 new? I think I might pick up a cpl more just because of the deal. What do you guys think?

To test if it's real, goto music or video's, memory stick, press triangle/information. If it says magicgate supported it's real, if it says unknown it's fake.
Its fake.. oh well lol. The only thing ive noticed is the slow transfer speed. Any other reason why this card would be bad besides that?
Most games will lag cause of the tranfer speed. eventually the card will fail and not read all 4gb and slowly corrupt your data. If you got it on ebay you can report it and possibly keep the card and get your money back. There's a thred on this in ebay just can't find it right now.
Nah I bought from some dude on craigs list, local dude he assured me if any probs he would replace it and such
ya gotta be careful i have seen small but decent mom and pop shops in the cities selling fake ms sticks for only a few bucks less!
