psp Music Buffering Problem

    im not sure if im in the right forum for this problem
    but if im not kindly direct me in the right direction and i will kindly move

    ok so a couple of weeks ago i bought myself a 8gb memory stick from best buy and i loaded it with movies and music
    but when i play mp3 in white text the word "Buffering" comes out and i have never had that problem with my old 2 gig that is now collecting dust on my shelf
    does the psp have a problem with 8 gigs or did i just so happen get stuck with a slow read speed

    Hardware: PSP-2000 Launch
    Sony MemoryStickProDuo 8gb MagicGate
    5.00 M33-4
    ive been reading that it has troubles when there is alot of data on the memory stick
    im not sure how accurate that truly is
    but just in case
    Total Space: 7647MB
    Free Space: 2291MB

    any help will be greatly appreciated

    I've had that happen to me before.

    I think the CPU speed it set to low.

    hmmmm u sure
    ive done a test with it on default then with it overclocking but no luck
