im actually new to all of this. i just had a couple of questions im pretty sure ill get flamed for this but anyways. i just want to make sure exactly what Firmware and the versions everybody is talking about. when i go to System info on my PsP. it says i have version 2.0. is the what version of Firmware. i have? im pretty sure cuz whn i the snes9x emulator i cant run it nor can i run any NES emu. can anybody help this n00b w/ downgrading. my pSp. thx.
cool thx ill check it out when i get off of work. umm one more ques. when i do attempt to downgrade is there any instructions i should follow. or do the downgraders do everything themselve. im really a n00b sorry.
if you click on that link you will see instructions how to do it together with pictures showing you what happens.Please,if you downgrade yours read everything properly before doing it,and then at the bottom of that page read all other users comments.They will help you to determine if you really want to do it.I just hope its alright with AD me giving this link.Not sure if this is the type that we are not allowed.Read it all. thx. o yea. another thing. sorry i keep adding the my ques. but i know you cant play newer games on older versions. is it easy to upgrade back to 2.0 . or could a pspemulator help w/ running the newer games that require F/W 2.0
No worries,ask if you need help.Yea its easy to upgrade back.To avoid people upgrading and still be able to play games as they like without requiring a newer version tehy make emulatos.It loads the game for you making the psp think it has an upgraded version.If im wrong in any way im sorry.I asnwear with the best of my knowlege.I hope it helps you.
