Hi, my PSP went dead some time back and I assumed the battery was faulty so I got a replacement item. It lasted for a day but when I put the PSP on charge no blinking icon showed and it did not charge. I replaced the charger to no avail so now I presume its the yellow jack or the circuit involved. When I recharge the battery in another PSP my PSP works fine untill the battery is dead. Anyone have any idea what parts I might need or if there is a known problem with the plug or circuit. Any help appreciated.TIA Tbone
Well you have 2 choices. Here they are from most recommended to least, 1)Send your PSP to Sony if you have a warrenty. 2)New Charger.*** 3)Take her apart, http://www.llamma.com/PSP/repair/complete_psp_disassembly.htm ***I have a charger than is also my USB cord. Your PSP just sits on a dock and it doesn't plug in but uses the 2 metal strips near the plug in. The charger is SUPER slow but it's better than nothing.
