OK I have been able to connect via private network and get the PS3 XMB and full useage. I am having issues with the remote play over the internet. My PSP can coonect to the network as can my PS3. 1) I cant connect through the internet in the house when I try it says the PS3 system was not found. As I stated earlier the private network works fine. 2) I tried remoting from a starbucks and got a PS3 timed out message. Thinking I got disconnected from the PSN I rushed home only to find the PS3 still faithfully connected to PSN. As I understand it I should be able to access my PS3 XMB from anywhere once on the net as long as the PS3 is left in remote play mode and signed in to the PSN. Is this all correct? I am using a Linksys WHT54GS v7.
I am having the exact same problem. My psp stays at the black screen before connecting to the ps3 via internet and then it says connection error. But the private network works just fine. Someone please help! Thanks!
