hi guys i bout my psp yesterday and iv got music and photos on there but i cant seem to get videos on there? i have a few mp4 videos but i dont know how to put them on or find anyway? i havent even got a folder for videos? when i plug my psp in to folders cum up psp and mp-root then in psp i have common, music,saved data, games,photos,games,and system. then in the root folder i have 100mnv01 and 101anv01. please can sum1 help me! thanx

i just done a tutorial on the video instaling wiv mp-root and the test video worked. i have now dwnloaded some mp4 music videos and i have xilisoft converter for the thm files! but still no luck! i convert my mp4 video so i get both files put them in to 100mnv01 they copy but then when i go on to my psp and to videos there is no files there? wat do i do now? thanx
should be in capitals make sure it is there is no need to convert an MP4 video as it is already in the mp4 format make sure you have named the mp4's correctly names are in the 1st link i gave
Starters make sure its MP_ROOT not mp_root same for 100MNV01 not 100mnv01, Videos with the file name M4Vxxxxx.MP4 go into the 100MNV01 folder. And videos with the file name MAQxxxxx.MP4 go into the 100ANV01 folder. (U may have to create 100ANV01 folder if its not in MP_ROOT already).
When you format a card using your PSP is creates all the nessesary folders you will need. Including the special folders for creating videos. 100MNV01 and 100ANV01 folder under the MP_ROOT folder. I know the cards that come in the PSP box are formated, but they need to be reformated if you want to have access to all the special folders for video and music. You dont have to format the card if you know how to manualy create the folders yourself. If your a noobie I recomend you format because its just easier and will cause you lees of a headache.
