When playing an online game, watching videos from PSPTube or even browsing the PS Store, the WLAN light randomly goes off and says that the WLAN has been switched off when it's clearly switched on.

It used to happen every few hours but now it switches off every 5-10 minutes which really pisses me off.

    Any ideas of a fix?
    I have 5.00 M33-6.

This has happened way before I updated to this firmware.

Already searched, the possible solutions I found do not help me.

probably the wifi is crapping out. or maybe a loose switch.

Haven't heard of such a problem.
Well if u're suspicious.. it wouldn't hurt to install CFW again.
And check if it works or not.

    If it's the same..
    Then it has gone crap..

Or maybe u could try opening up the PSP and check?
Well, don't follow everything i say.

    Just some advices. =D

    Yep, re-installed firmware.

Not a hardware guy, I have no idea what to look for if I opened up my PSP.

Thanks for the help though :).

    Nah, no problem.

A tip. Keep ur PSP clean always and prevent dust getting into the small holes near the buttons. =D

my friend has the same problem, and you need to keep it clean, if it is then it must be an error in the making of the psp's (if it is the psp 1000).
