I dropped my psp on accident by the on off switch and it wont read umd disc no more. I did this before and all I had to do was bang it again and it worked. I've done this a few times now by mistake. Now it wont read the disc any ideas? I was thinkin i could take it apart but would that really help at all? THANKS

Call Sony and say that your psp won't read umds anymore for some reason. Don't tell them you dropped it though.

It always works ha ha. If it doubt, just hit it real hard with something. It works for anything electrical.

No it really does it goes to the blue screen where you have to hit the circle button. Mine drops down to firmware 1.5. Other people have had the same thing happen. Its not just me.
