psp wont turn on no lights

hi i have a fat psp 1000 and it wont turn on
i played the psp yesterday and turned it off
in the morning my psp wouldnt turn on, so i plugged the ac adaptor and nothing, it wont turn on, i dont get any colour on the power so it isnt a brick
i have tried to remove the battery and put it back in
i cant send it to sony as the warranty seal has been damaged
i tried it with just the ac adaptor plugged in but still nothing.

 

sounds weird....the only thing I can think of is to use a new ac adapter or barrow one from a friend...

You may also want to try a friends charged battery.
If it works then it maybe a fixable problem.

 

since it doesn't work with the ac adapter either, maybe there's an internal power problem. like a loose ribbon? idk i'm just a noob but it could be worth checking out

Try putting the power switch to the HOLD position then turn it on. I had a similar problem when mine crashed.
