.pss to avi or mpeg

hi there, i hope im posting in the right section,

i downloaded a prog here called media player classic 6.84, which i found good cos it can play ,ovies from ps2 games which are in .pss format, but i was just wondering, if there is a prog out there which allows me to rip em from the disc and convert the .pss files into a medial file such as avi, mpeg, divX or wahtever, that wasy i can watch em on my pc without having to watch em off a ps2 game all the time, if such a prog exists , or if anyone can pass on some info to me about this subject, it would be gratly appreciated
