i got a new psu 800watt it is i admit a cheap one but even so it works....that is untill i plug in a cd/dvd dive then the thing wont boot..if there is no cd/dvd in it then it can. if the computer is on then i put in a cd/dvd it just powers off. my old 200watt can run all the same stuff so what is going on...i dont think it is because of too much load cos i can run it with a 7600gt with no cd/dvd and it works then still with no cd/dvd change to a 9800gt and it still works HELP?

well.. the silence says it all.. it's either a crap psu or you have a jumper settings conflict. I don't think the old "cable in upside down" applies these days
