PSX emulator

    I have offical updates from playstation on my psp reading System Software : 3.30.
    Now i hear about PSX emulators on the psp and i think to myself "FFVII ON THE MOVE? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
    Would sonys latest update help any?Or is it to late for me to get the emulator through backgrading, can someone help me? In mediocore detail please?

    Upgrade to 3.50, then downgrade to 1.50, then upgrade to 3.40 OE-A.
