Hi all! I need some help... I "DIVX"-ed a DVD movie the way it is written on that famous page (http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2divx_anamorphic.cfm) and the results I got is really nice except one thing: I got pinkish lines and errors on the bottom of the page. It doesn't show all the time, but it comes and goes. Could that be because of the cropping? Pleae help...I have no idea why it is like that. Thanks: Matt
It's because of the resizing to 640x360.. 360 is not divisible by 16. The width and height should be divisible by 16 for the encoding to function correctly, since it operates on 16x16 blocks of the frames. I did the same thing, using that guide 14 hours of encoding --> crappy divx ;-(
