Can anyone help me get my starview the box up and running again? I tried to put latest firmware on. Everything seemed to work perfectly. However when I tried to reboot it, It won't let me into parental control or channel edit. I also seem to have lost C....s . When I try to do automatic scan, C....s has been replaced by something called OMD. Can this be cured? Thanks

I think it's starview 2. Bought it new just over a year ago. Are you confident that reflashing with correct firmware will do the trick?

To identify which box you have, just have a look and state wht it say's at the top left hand corner front of the box. If it say's Starview The Box then it is SV2 etc. Also if you have lost your provider, just go into Cas System and press Set Default Key, that should bring them back, but make sure what box you have and that you put on the correct firmware.
