Putting 2 AVIs onto a dvd

    I have to and i convert them to dvd but when it burns it goes to two dvds.... usualy the first dvd is full and the second dvd only has like 400mb on it so i want to put it onto a cd but it wont let me so i virtuallywaste a whole cd... how do i put half on a dvd and the other half on a dvd?

    First of all, you could use e.g. Shrink or Nero to compress the movie to fit to a dvd. But if you must burn to two dvds, then try e.g. DVD Fab Gold.

    If you wish to burn 2 DVD's, put one file on each or the quality will suffer. If you wish to burn 1 DVD, any encoder will do this as long as you keep the bitrate or quality low enough. Pretty poor to watch, though, unless they are short episodes.

    i tried nero and i dont get it...



    i have two files of audio_ts and video_ts how do i burn both of them to one dvd

    I have cucusoft and i put both avis onto the thing to convert, but always when its done it tells me to put in one disk then two disk i cant figure out how to put them onto one through that either

    just downloaded dvd shrink but when i try to open video files it closes on me

    Never tried this but follow this guide and add both your files:http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946 You should be able to burn both to 1 DVD and have menues. As far as Cucosoft, you should have 2 mpg files that you author and burn but you have to keep the bitrate (quality) low enough for both to fit on a single DVD.
