Ok guys/gals you've been great so far so maybe you can answer one more for me. My wife has an exercise collecting consisting of about 5 disk. Since they are only about 20 minutes a piece is there any way to back them all up on 1 4.37 dvd+r. Any help would be great. Thanks

    hi gypsysoul
you can do that many ways, one way is with dvd shrink.
rip each disc to its own folder and check out this guide:http://www.dvdshrink.info/compilation.php
it can also be done with dvd2one but shrink is free!!
    good luck

OK, I've done the thing with DVD Shrink but, now I don't have any menus on the disk. also its like i can click next on the dvd remote it will jump to the next episode but if I click previous on the remote it will only go to the begining of the current episode playing. In order to go back to the one before I have to stop and start over from the begining. Any suggestions?

Wouldn't you need a custom primary menu that lets you pick with DVD-movie menu you want to jump to?

Yeah, That's what I had figured but I can't seem to negotiate the Nero program enough to get it done without eating a ton of hd space or having glitches all in it.

You can create your own menu's with TMPGEnc dvd author or dvd lab, both have trial versions available.
There are freeware programs, but im not familiar with them.
