putting pictures into the xbox for skins

    i've trying to ftp pictures into the xbox and it works, the problem is that i can't seem to open them or even choose in the skins menu
    I was just wondering if anybody can help me

    so all i have to do is ftp it to xbmc?

    but i want to use it as my skin for when i first turn on the xbox

    it is actually much more confusing. you must create an xml file so your xbox will load it as a skin. you also must create pictures for loading and other things. You could submit it at the site and it [bold]might[/bold] convert it into xml, but it probably has to do something with coding.

    ok thanks xxteakxx but the thing is that i wanted to use one of my daughters pics and i didn't want to share it with them u know what i mean?
    So if there is any way of doing it yourself and if anyone is able to explain it to me then i would apreciate it guys.

    yeah, I can't help you with that, I'm not very fond of coding, but you might could find someone to explain it to you.
