I'm getting a new computer, and I want to put some of my programs onto it, but I don't have a few install cds. Is there a way to put these programs on my new computer without installing them? Can I just transfer them or something? If so, how would I do that (would a cd or dvd work)?

Can I burn the program folders onto a cd and put them on the new computer? I'm guessing I'll need some registry files. How should I get them? Should I go into my registry, export the first file (i.e. in my registry it goes Alcohol Soft > Alcohol 120% > Basic, Devices, etc. So, I would pick Alcohol Soft I'm guessing), then just burn that, put it on my new computer, and add it to my registry?

So, burn program folder and reg's, then put program folders on my new computer, and finally add the reg's to my new registry. Or does the order matter, and will this even work?
