Have a DVD burner and would like to know how to take movies off the hard drive and put them on a DVD. Is there free software that can do this? If not, what would be the best software to buy?
Hi brinks, Are these movies ripped from dvd's or download type files. If ripped from dvd's, check the guide for DVDshrink and burning with Nero. If downloaded files, you may need to convert the file type. Check the forum on Analog video to dvd-r or AVI to dvd-r. Jerry
I believe, these video clips were ripped from a DVD and placed on the internet. Under type of file, they are listed as Video clips. If burning them will be a long drawn out process, I will say the hell with it. But if it can be done through Nero or some other program, I would like to make it happen.
You could probably save the files to a dvd data type disc with any of the burning programs. But this would only allow you to access them on the computer. Thats probably all you can do right now anyway. The files just won't play in a stand alone player. If this is what you want to do just to get them off the HD it will work. That should be easy, just check your software guides. Jerry
