putting wav and avi into one file

    i have an avi and a wav file (from the same movei) and i need to put them into one file (final movie)......does anyone know how to do that??

    1.Open up the AVI with VDub
    2.Goto Audio --> WAV Audio and specify the WAV file.
    3. Goto Audio --> Direct Stream Copy
    4. Goto Video --> Direct Stream Copy.
    5. File --> Save AVI
    I am assuming that the Audio file is already encoded (i.e., so its not something like 8GB WAV file). If you dont have a preencoded wav file, your step 3 should be:
    3. Audio --> Compression. Specify codec and bitrate. (This should automatically switch the mode to "Full Processing Mode")

    Thank you....I just tried it and it did exactly what i wanted it to

    I also would like to add that i would suggest that before you save the avi you go under the video menu and select compression...the first time i didn't do this and i got a HUGE file (like 30 GB)........I selected divx as the codec for the movie i did but whatever you want to do.

    oops ... i assumed you already had the video part encoded alreay and were just worried about audio.
